AFI Rentals has passed a major sustainability milestone, with our carbon offsetting scheme now having invested in 1,050 tonnes of certified carbon offsets since launch.
The achievement is confirmed in our latest Q2 2025 Carbon Footprint Report, which highlights the continued progress being made in reducing our environmental impact.
The scheme, run in partnership with trusted climate projects community @Ecologi, offsets the carbon emissions linked to the delivery and collection of powered access machines hired online or off-hired using AFI’s digital tools.
Highlights from the Q2 2025 report include:
• Total offsets now surpass one million kg of CO₂
• Ongoing customer uptake of online hire and off-hire is driving higher offsetting under the scheme
• Continued investment in electric and hybrid “green machines” across the fleet
• All UK sites under AFI control are operating on renewable energy, with ongoing reductions in our utility use across our sites
Paul Roberts, CFO at AFI, said:
"We believe transparency and objective measurement are critical to assessing progress in sustainability. We recognise this is a journey of continuous improvement. Our success as a business comes not just from our financial performance but also from our recognition of our responsibilities to our team, the environment and the communities in which we operate."
AFI Rentals remains committed to further reducing its carbon footprint and supporting customers with sustainable solutions across every sector.
