CITB Grants and Levy explained

citb

Since 1st April 2023, CITB has updated its Grants and Levy claims. This is great news for all CITB levy-paying customers, as the tier system that was previously in place has been increased across all tiers.

CITB has increased the tier-level grant to help address rising training costs and the ongoing skills shortages in the UK. In response to feedback from levy-paying employers, the deadline for grant claims has also been extended to 52 weeks - an additional 32 weeks - giving businesses more time and flexibility to benefit from available funding.

The grants and deadline increase are to encourage more training in skills required for the construction industry.
