The AFI group of companies has invested in an extra 100 Versalift 13.50m Van Mounted Cherry Pickers to meet exceptional demand from the utilities and infrastructure sectors.
One of the UK's powered access specialists, AFI group of companies have finalised another order for an additional 100 new Versalift VTL135F van mounts to add to the growing Facelift van mounted fleet. These vans can work in many industries but are in particular deand from AFI and Facelift customers who are supporting the UK infrastructure. Because they weigh under 3.5t they can be driven on a normal car licence and require an IPAF 1B to operate.
The new Versalift 13.5m Van Mounted Cherry Pickers are perfect for work that requires greater horizontal outreach than the other Van Mounts, because, thanks to its larger turret, it can give almost a full metre extra (0.70m) of extra reach. This makes it ideal for those infrastructure jobs which are low to the ground but difficult to gain direct access to, such as jobs behind walls, or roadside signage. The articulating basket will ensure the greatest flexibility when most needed and all vans are fitted with an on-board ultraviolet disinfecting light that will destroy up to 99.9% of germs.
