    We have invested in an excellent bespoke induction programme and ongoing staff training and development; this includes:

    Structured induction programme – exclusive to AFI, our bespoke induction programme trains on all aspects of the role that you will need to succeed with follow-up training provided in your first months of employment. Focusing on our culture and our products, you will gain a complete understanding of our customer service expectations.

    Structured career development – Our team of AFI experts are here to support you and work with you to explore your learning potential, career goals and broader aspirations.

    Internal Promotions – We know from experience that our employees appreciate opportunities for advancement and the potential for growth, so we focus on internal promotions. We ensure that employees have ample opportunities for professional development so they’re continually learning and growing their skill sets. It’s also an excellent way to identify rising stars within AFI.

    Employee development/progress – Our Learning Management System integrates with our appraisal system for everyone at AFI. We have the Investors in People Award as we are committed to employee development.  We operate a non-job-related “Training Plus” scheme focusing on personal development. E.g., winter football coaching, language, skiing, clay-pigeon shooting lessons.

    We operate flexible e-learning modules, a comprehensive induction programme to prepare new employees for working in the industry, and regular refresher training for all staff. Health and Safety is a vital part of our induction programme; The IOSH Managing Safely programme is mandatory for all senior managers.

    We appointed and trained Customer Service Champions to mentor the next training round attendees—a great place to start your career with AFI.
